Studio apartment close to Place de la Republique

This cozy and comfortable furnished studio apartment is situated between Rue du Chateau and Boulevard Saint-Martin on a calm little street. This apartment is located right in front of City Hall in the 10th Arrondissement. It is only 10 to 15 minutes away from Les Halles, the Marais, the Opera, the Louvre and many others points of interest in Paris. Right near the apartment is the open market, Saint-Martin, with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc. This area contains a lot of cafés, shops and small restaurants, offering food from all over the world (Indian, Turkish, Indonesian, Yugoslavian, etc.). Located in a lane, it has the atmosphere of very old Paris. This apartment is also near the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.
Premises:
This 33m² (approx. 355 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 20th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system.
The exposure is south and the apartment faces a calm courtyard with evergreens.
The walls are white and there is carpeting almost throughout.
The apartment door opens to a small entry hall with a window, a chair, a phone and a large mirror. Facing the entry door is a separate kitchen followed by a bathroom with a toilet. To the left of the entry hall is the living room.
The 19m² (approx. 200 sq. ft.) living room has a window with exterior bamboo shades and black-out drapes. It is decorated with a sofa bed (140 wide), a single-size bed, a wood dining table, two chairs, one armchair, a stereo and cable TV as well as a decorative fireplace with a large mirror on an entire section of the wall. There is also a built-in closet in this room and it contains a DSL Internet connection (a wireless connection is also available).
The kitchen is separate and tiled and has a window with a view of the courtyard. It is equipped with a microwave, two electric burners, a small refrigerator, a stainless steel sink, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The bathroom is tiled and has a window. It is fitted with a shower protected by a plastic curtain, a washbasin with a mirror, a washing machine and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Republique (line 9,5,11,3,8), Strasbourg-Saint Denis (lines 4, 8 and 9) and Jacques Bonsergent (line 5).
