Neighborhood:
At the top of St. Genevieve Mountain behind Le Pantheon, this apartment is just a few steps away from La Place de la Contrescarpe and Rue Mouffetard in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Nearby is the renowned Boulevard Saint Germain with its secondhand bookstores, coffee houses and galleries. The area features a number of restaurants and cafes, diverse shops, and other quality conveniences such as Maubert Mutualité and Mouffetard open-air markets, supermarkets, and fine bakeries.
Premises:
In a small 19th century building with an elevator, this bright, 60m² (approx. 645 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is east/west exposed with a long balcony facing a quiet street. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and an intercom.
Layout:
A long wood floor corridor leads to the separate toilet, the separate kitchen and the bedroom on the left side; the living room is at the end. On the right side of the corridor is a wardrobe.
The 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) living room has a window and then two French windows overlooking the balcony. It is decorated with hardwood floor, area rugs, antique furniture, a sofa, a dining table, lamps, a writing desk and a bookcase.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom is located off the living room and the corridor. It is decorated with hardwood floor, area rugs, a 160cm wide (approx. 5 ft.) double bed, a TV with cable and a DVD player and a French window overlooking the balcony.
The bathroom is off the bedroom. It is tiled and has a bathtub with a handheld shower and two washbasins with a mirror.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) separate kitchen has a window, facing a courtyard. It is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, four gas burners, a gas oven, a stainless sink and a toaster.
A washing machine and dryer are in the apartment.
Heating and water heater are gas.
The nearest metro station is Place Monge (Line 7).
