One-bedroom loft duplex apartment in Belleville area
|
Neighborhood:
Located between Rue de Belleville and Rue de Menilmontant, this apartment is just a few minutes away from the heart of Belleville and its shops and nice restaurants. The neighborhood is the center of an artist exhibition every year in the middle of spring. The apartment is near the metro station Jourdain, which is a few stops away from Châtelet Les Halles.
Premises:
This 70m² (approx. 750 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex is situated on the first floor of a 19th century factory walk-up building transformed into loft apartments. A security system and an intercom protect the main entrance gate. The apartment faces gardens and buildings. It has a southwestern exposure.
This apartment was used by new yorker filmmakers for short films.
Layout:
The entry door opens into a hallway that leads to the separate toilet and the bathroom on the right and the living room and kitchen at the end. The hallway has large wardrobes just in front of the bathroom. On the first floor is the bedroom.
The 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) living room has three windows and a skylight overlooking a courtyard. Downstairs, it is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, two poufs, a coffee table, a Wifi Internet connection, a dining table with four chairs, a small table, a built-in closet and three chests of drawers. Upstairs, there is a sofa, a coffee table, a phone, a chest of drawers and a console with a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro ceramic burners, a combo microwave/grill oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The 7m² (approx. 75 sq. ft.) bedroom is equipped with a double-size bed, an alarm clock and some shelves.
The bathroom contains a bathtub and showerhead, a washbasin and some closets. A small and separate room in the bathroom is dedicated to the combo washer/dryer.
There is a separate toilet.
The nearest metro station is Jourdain Line 11.
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
