Very well situated, between the stylish Rue du Cherche Midi and Rue de Sèvres. Southwest and northeast exposed, bright and calm, this nice 90m2 Duplex apartment having the charm of many genuine wooden beams is located on the sixth floor (one walk up floor) of a well-kept 17th century building equipped with a security system and an elevator. It can accommodate up to six people. A flight of semi-circular stairs decorated with nice houseplant start from the main door leading to the white painted pleasant interior. To the left side is the living area, and to the right side is the access to the bedrooms and bathroom. On one side the 30m2 double living room has a parquet floor, fitted out with a double sofa bed, a black electric piano, recessed wall mounted bookshelves, a wooden desk (the computer seen in the photos is not available), a telephone a Hi Fi stereo. A window with short net curtains opening to the street. On the other side is the dining area with a tiled floor, where is a round wooden dining table with six straw-bottomed chairs facing a nice working fireplace, mobile white wood bookshelves, a window, and the spacious open kitchen placed to the right side. Equipped with four vitro ceramic burners, a hood with exhaust fan, a traditional electric oven, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, the kitchen also has a dishwasher, a washing machine, cupboards containing utensils above and below the white worktop with double stainless steel sinks, an American bar, and a window. - Both 12m2 bedrooms have a parquet floor and a window with curtains -The first one encloses a double bed with a bedside table and lamp, a built in closet, small recessed wall mounted bookshelves, and a chest of drawers. There is air conditioning on the mezzanine. -Opposite, the second one is composed of two single beds, a decorative fireplace, mobile bookshelves, a desk, an area rug, and posters. From here white wooden stairs climb to the 6m2 open mezzanine under the inclined roof (1,40m at the highest spot) where is a single bed, a desk, bookshelves, and a skylight. There is also a children restroom where the ceiling is very low. Placed between the two bedrooms the white tiled bathroom has a bathtub with showerhead, a washbasin with a closet below, toilet, and a skylight. Celebrated area for its elegant, trendy streets and for the many pleasure' options stylish fashion shops, antiques' shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes. In a short distance is the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine River, and most of the monuments and points of interest. Also, in the area there are excellent quality services such as fine bakeries, supermarkets, and the well-known daily Buci' open air market.
