Quiet studio close in the Nation area
|
This calm 15 m2 studio apartment is located between Boulevard de Charonne and the Rue des Pyrenées and not far from the Place de la Nation.
The Nation neighborhood in the Eastend of Paris, close to the Place de la Bastille-known to be attractive to artists of all backgrounds-.
It is also near the most visited necropolis in the world : the Père Lachaise Cemetery and it is very close to the Montreuil flea market. In this particular area multi-cultural and mostly residential- you will find a lot of affordable restaurants, cafes with outdoor terraces and convenience stores.
At a walking distance one finds supermarkets, post office, banks, book- stores.
This studio is located on the ground floor of a pre-war building protected with a security system.
The apartment has West exposure. The entire apartment has parquet floors and white painted walls except for the bathroom, which is tiled.
The apartment is divided as follow:
A French window opens onto the main room. On the right hand side is the open kitchen. On the left hand side is the dining area. At the bottom is the living area, the separate bathroom and below is the mezzanine with a bed.
The 14 m2 main room is decorated with a sofa, a stereo and a little coffee table. The dining area has a dining table bar with two stools.
The open eat-in kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, a toaster, a microwave, two electric hotplates, a coffee machine, a cupboard with all the necessary utensils and a stainless steel sink.
The open bedroom mezzanine has 160 cm high ceiling is reachable by a ladder and is furnished with a (160 cm wide) double mattress, a TV with cable (30 channels including BBC/CNN) and a VCR and shelves.
There is a phone. High speed internet access is available.
The bathroom is equipped with a wall-mounted showerhead protected by a curtain, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a toilet.
The nearest metro stations are Nation (line 1, 2, 6, 9 ), RER A, Avron (line 2) and Buzenval (line 9).
