This furnished apartment is located on Rue de la Harpe between Boulevard St. Michel and Boulevard St. Germain just a few steps from the Seine River. Located in the heart of Paris' Fifth Arrondissement, it is next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. This exceptional location in the heart of the Quartier Latin is obviously one of the most renowned areas of Paris containing many historical points of interest. There are famous institutes of learning in this area such as La Sorbonne, retaining much of its old character, and Jussieu. This accommodation is also just a few steps away from Saint Germain des Prés and the famous Jardin du Luxembourg. The neighborhood is very lively and has many bars and restaurants.
Premises:
This 30m2 (approx. 320 sq. ft.) studio is situated on the sixth floor of a post-war building with an elevator. A security system and an intercom protect the main entrance gate. The apartment faces the street and has an eastern exposure.
The apartment entry opens to a hallway with a large mirrored built-in wall cupboard. Facing it is the bathroom. On the right a small corridor leads directly to the main room and the open kitchen.
The 27m˛ (approx. 290 sq. ft.) main room has two French doors opening onto a balcony with eastern exposure and a view of the facing building. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables, a double-size red sofa bed, a cable TV, a VCR and a stereo.
The open eat-in kitchen is on the left in the main room. It is equipped with a wooden dining table with two chairs, a microwave, a small refrigerator, two electric hotplates, a coffee maker, a stainless-steel sink and a cooker hood. All the necessary utensils are in the cupboard. There is also a washing machine.
The bathroom is tiled. It includes a bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead and a plastic curtain, a washbasin with a mirror, and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is St. Michel (Line 4, RER B or C).
