Lovely studio apartment in the heart of the Marais
|
Neighborhood:
Located between rue du Bourg Tibourg and Rue des Ecouffes, this charming studio apartment is in the heart of the Marais district. A lively and historical area, it is known for its pre-Revolutionary architecture and many points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, and diverse, trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges. It is famous for the harmony of its architecture and many illustrious Frenchmen lived there, including novelist Victor Hugo. There is a laundromat and a web café just down the block.
Premises:
This 19m2 (approx. 200 sq. ft.) flat is situated on the fourth floor of a 19th century, well-maintained building with stairs, protected by a code system. The apartment is south exposed, facing the street. It has a plastic floor, white walls and wooden beams in the main room.
Layout:
The main door opens directly into the main room. On the left side is the shower room, then an open kitchen with a bar opening onto the living area with two windows.
The 11m² (approx. 100 sq. ft.) main room has a 140cm-wide (approx. 4 ft.) double sofa bed, a study table with a chair, a folding table with two folding chairs, a large cupboard, a set of shelves and three shelves on the walls. There is also a cable TV/VCR combo and a telephone.
The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, two electric burners, a sink, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker. All the necessary utensils are in the cupboard.
The shower room is equipped with a shower cubicle, a toilet, and a washbasin with a mirror.
High speed DSL Internet access is available.
The nearest metro stations are St. Paul, Le Marais and Hotel de Ville (Line 1).
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
