Spacious one bedroom apartment in the Belleville area
|
Located between Rue de Belleville and Rue Rebeval, this apartment is just a few steps from the Chinese area.
The Belleville area is characterized by an artist (painters, writers, sculptures), community in the area as well as by a real village and family spirit (the area around the apartment is actually called the 'village'). There are a lot of Chinese food stores and a wide range of bakeries, wineries, fresh fruits and vegetables shops and supermarkets.
Within a short walking distance is the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the largest park of Paris, very nice for a relaxing stroll. Also not far from the apartment is the Park de la Vilette. With its 30 hectares, just beside it are the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie and the Geode with its 180 degrees' cinema screen.
Situated on the 5th floor of a walk up building protected with a code system, it overlooks westward on the street side and eastward on the courtyard side. The windows have shutters.
This 48m2 apartment has wooden floor and white walls everywhere except for tiles in the kitchen, the bathroom and the WC.
The layout is as follows: the main door opens onto a corridor with the 15m2 bedroom on the left-hand side and on the right the WC then the kitchen. At the end of the corridor is in front the shower room and on the left hand side the 18m2 living room.
The living room has a small window and a larger French window opening onto small a balcony. It is furnished with a sofabed (140 wide), a coffee table, a corner wall built shelves with books, a flat screen cable TV, a DVD player and a stereo. There is also a side-folding table with a mirror, a standing lamp and a dining table with 2 chairs and a bench. There is a rug on the floor.
The bedroom is furnished with a low bed (140 wide), a wall built closet, a chest of drawers and an armchair. There is a TV with VCR and a phone line.
The kitchen has a window and is equipped with 3 gas burners and an electric plaque, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer combo and a microwave/oven combo.
The shower room has a shower corner with a curtain, and a washbasin with a mirror. WC is separate.
internet access is available.
The nearest metro station is Belleville (lines 2, 11).
