Small and quite one bedroom apartment in the Montmartre area
|
Situated between Rue Andre Antoine and Bd de Clichy this 35m2 one bedroom apartment in mezzanine is calm and ideal for a couple at a short walking distance from the Montmartre area.
The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable, at the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, most especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur basilica. One of Paris's most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood like the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
This apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and the exposure is west. The apartment faces the street and there is wooden floor almost everywhere.
The apartment is divided as follows: when you enter it is a small entry hall opening onto the 22m2 living room and its open and separate kitchen. The bathroom faces the kitchen and the 8m2 bedroom is on a mezzanine reachable by wooden stairs.
The living room has two windows with double-glazing facing the street. It is decorated with two sofas, a coffee table, a stereo, a telephone, a TV and a few decorative items.
The bedroom on the mezzanine has a skylight and is fitted with a double bed (140 wide).
The open and separate kitchen is tiled and has a window viewing the street. It is equipped with two vitro ceramic burners, a small fridge, a sink, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also a washing machine.
The bathroom is tiled and fitted with a shower protected by a curtain, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and an electric toilet.
The nearest metro station is Pigalle (line 2).
