Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is situated in the heart of Montmartre on a quiet street of a neighborhood with a lot of diverse food shops, mainly at the daily Rue du Poteau market, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very close to this accommodation is the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica and a few steps away is the Place des Abesses, one of Paris' most picturesque squares. Premises: This large and sunny 77m² (approx. 830 sq ft) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 20th century building; it has an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a security code and an intercom. The exposure is east and it faces both the street and a calm courtyard. The windows of the bedrooms have shutters and the floor is carpeted everywhere except in the kitchen which has red tile, and the bathroom, which has linoleum. Upon entering the apartment, there is a hallway leading to the living room and the open kitchen. To the left is a long corridor with the toilet and the bathroom; to the right is the first bedroom and at the end, the second bedroom. The 27m² (approx. 290 sq. ft.) living room opens to a large 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) flowered and herbaceous terrace, equipped with a dining table and chairs. The room is decorated with a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, carpeting, a standing lamp, a dining table with matching chairs, a bookshelf with books and CDs, cable TV with a VCR, a stereo system, and a computer with an Internet connection. The en suite open kitchen has a window and is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, an electric oven, one electric and three gas burners, a washing machine (dryer), a coffee maker and a toaster. The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a French door opening onto the terrace; it contains a king-size bed (200x200), a closet, carpeting, and cable TV. The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) second bedroom has a French door opening onto the terrace as well; it is furnished with a 140m wide bed, a chest of drawers and a closet. The bathroom has a window and is quite large with a bathtub, a wall-mounted showerhead, and a washbasin with a mirror. The toilet is separate and has a small washbasin. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Lamark-Caulaincourt (line 13).
