Quiet studio in the Marais

This 21m2 studio apartment is situated in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, at the intersection of rue de Saintonge in the historic Marais district. It is in close proximity to the Filles du Calvaire Metro station, and to the Place de la République which gives access to a large variety of Métro, bus and taxi transport. This studio apartment can accommodate a couple and a small child maximum. The Picasso Museum is in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, and the Pompidou Centre and the Place des Vosges are fifteen minutes' walk away. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine and the Latin Quarter are 20 minutes' walk from the apartment. This very recently renovated studio, fully air conditioned, is on the 6th and last floor (courtyard-side) of an elegant turn-of-the-19-20th-Century apartment building with elevator up to the fifth floor. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system, intercom, and there is a concierge in the building. It consists of two rooms made into one with an open separation and two windows, plus separate bathroom/toilet with a third window. The living room section has a double sofa-bed (140 wide), a folding single bed (which could be set up in the curtained-off kitchen section at night upon request), armchair, coffee table, bookcase, cable TV, hi-fi system and telephone. The kitchen is fitted with benches/cupboards, and equipped with, clothes washer, refrigerator, oven-grill, electric range (2 hot plates), electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, iron, ironing board and all necessary cooking/dining accessories, plus a table and 4 chairs. The bathroom has a tiled shower-stall with glass door, a WC, washbasin, mirror, cabinet and hair-dryer and a small window. The nearest metro stations are Filles du Calvaire (line 9), Republique (lines, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11).
