One-bedroom duplex loft near Père Lachaise

Neighborhood: This loft is located in the 20th Arrondissement on Rue Pelleport between Rue Belgrand and Avenue Gambetta. Found on the Right Bank, this is an area known for its cultural diversity. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants and cafes, diverse sorts of shops such as supermarkets, bakeries and the open-air food market at Place Edith Piaf. The very trendy Rue de Menilmontant, packed with bars, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs, and Place Gambetta, with its theatres, are in walking distance. The 20th arrondissement is also famous for the Père Lachaise cemetery, where many famous artists are buried. It is a short metro ride to Place de la Nation, which provides easy access to any part of Paris, and to the La Defense business district as well as the European Disney Resort. Premises: The 80m2 (approx. 860 sq. ft.) duplex, one-bedroom loft with 2.40m ceilings on the first floor and 2.50m ceilings on the second floor is on the fifth floor (sixth in the USA) of a building built in the early 70's. The building has two elevators, a concierge and is protected by a Digicode system. The rooms have hardwood floors and the furniture is modern. This apartment is equipped with a system (Free Box) that provides a high-speed Internet connection. Layout: The entrance door opens into a hallway with a walk-in closet, which leads to the 40m2 living space on the first floor of this duplex. The 30m2 (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room is furnished with a sofa, a side table, a coffee table, a cupboard and a chair. It is equipped with a music system and a TV with VCR and DVD, and comes with an air conditioner. A wall-to-wall bay window leads to a 6m2 (approx. 60 sq. ft.) balcony and faces southwest onto the street. The apartment has an open view. A dining table with four chairs separates the living area from an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with an electric stove with an exhaust fan, an oven with microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. The bathroom on this floor has a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. It is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. A staircase leads to the 40m2 (approx. 430 sq. ft.) upper floor, which is divided into a sleeping area, an office area and a second bathroom. This floor also has a bay window facing the same view as the first floor and a window on the opposite side. The 30m2 (approx. 320 sq. ft.) sleeping area has a window facing northeast into a courtyard. It is furnished with a king-size bed, bookshelves and a walk-in closet. The 5m2 (approx. 50 sq. ft.) office area comes with a writing table, a chair and shelves. The second bathroom comes with a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet and has a wall of opaque glass. The closest metro is Porte de Bagnolet (line 3). Buses provide a direct commute from the airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle to Porte de Bagnolet.
