This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue de la Banque between Rue des Petits Champs and Rue des Petits Peres. The nearby Tuileries area is surrounded by the vast and harmonious expanse of the Concorde Square at one end, and by the Grand Louvre, the seat of the French monarchy, at the other. This accommodation is also close to Place Vendome, the best example of 18th century elegance in Paris and the place where composer Frederic Chopin died in 1848. The apartment's location serves as an intersection for Paris's most magnificent shopping streets, Rue de Rivoli, which is parallel to the Tuileries Gardens, and Rue St. Honore. The Louvre, which contains one of the important art collections in the world, is only a few steps from this accommodation. There are all sorts of convenience shops and services available in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 33m² (approx. 355 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor of a well-maintained 18th-century walk-up building. The entrance gate has a coded security system and opens into a hallway leading to a second gate with intercom, which allows access to the lobby with the staircase and elevator.
The entrance door opens into a small hallway, which has a large built-in closet. This hallway connects the main room with the separate bathroom. The separate kitchen is accessible via the main room. The entire apartment has exposed beams.
The 25m² (approx. 269 sq. ft.) living room has two windows with western exposure overlooking the street. This main room is furnished with a double-size bed, a double-size sofa bed, a dining table with wrought iron chairs, and a wooden closet. There is also a flatscreen television and a DVD-player with DVD's.
The separate kitchen is tiled and equipped with two electric plates topped with a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a coffee-maker, a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster. There is also a combination washing machine/dryer.
The bathroom is tiled and has a bathtub with a hand-held showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet, and a French bidet.
There is a high speed internet connection available in the apartment.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Bourse (line 3) and Palais Royal Musée du Louvres (lines 1,7).
