Two bedroom quadruplex in Montmartre

Situated on the Montmartre knoll, between rue Etex and rue Tourlaque. Montmartre district and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. The Moulin de la Galette can be seen from the apartment's window, this windmill was built in 1622 and was used for grinding wheat and pressing grapes. At the end of the century the mill became a famous dance hall and provided inspiration for artists like Renoir and Van Gogh. One of Paris's most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. Architect designed and tastefully decorated this gorgeous 220m2 four-storey apartment is equipped with a security system and an intercom. Calm, and bright although north exposed, it has picture windows leading to two terraces sizing 14 and 18m2, white walls, and a nice parquet floor. At the ground floor is the hall including a dressing room, a chest, and separate toilet. There also is a washing machine, a drying machine, and a freezer. In the first floor are the living and dining areas, and the kitchen. The second floor encloses an open office space, a bedroom, a bathroom, a dressing room, recessed wall mounted bookshelves, and a separate toilet. Finally, a staircase leads to the master's bedroom and open wide bathroom, which faces a second private terrace. Three ceiling heights of 6, 3, and 2.80m amplify the 80m2 roomy living room split out on two sections. Across the dining space, a few steps go down to the lower side where the living area is decorated with two sofa beds, a top-glassed coffee table, two antique fine' wicker armchairs and chest of drawers, a cable TV with international channels, a DVD, a VCR, a stereo, wall mounted bookshelves, and paintings. Besides, there is a cast iron working fireplace. The dining space is fitted out with a choice dining table and six matching chairs facing the picture window, which opens to the 14m2 terrace embellished with evergreens and a round wrought iron garden table with similar chairs. In addition there are two contemporary cosy armchairs, oriental area rugs, a floor lamp, and paintings. Opposite, across the hallway, there is a fancy design red dining table with stools in the recessed spacious kitchen, equipped with four gas burners, a traditional electric oven, a multifunction oven, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster. There also is a stainless steel sink, and number of cupboards and drawers containing all necessary utensils. Spacious, the 38m2 master's bedroom includes the open superb bathroom. To the left side there is a 1.60 wide double bed with bedside tables and lamps. To the right side, the bathroom has a large wall mounted showerhead and a design and smaller handhold one, as well as a white washbasin, pleasantly looking out through the picture window onto the 18m2 terrace where there is a wooden chaise lounge, a bench, and evergreens. In the open office space there is a desk, and photos ornate the walls. Through the corridor placed to the right side, the 17m2 guest's bedroom is to be furnished with 140 wide double bed and a grey sofa. There is a closet, an area rug, and a window overlooking the terrace. At the bottom of the corridor is the second exquisite bathroom for the bright-multicolored tiled floor contrasting with the white walls. It has a bathtub, a white square washbasin, and ceiling built in spotlights.
