Charming one bedroom railroad apartment in the St Germain des Pres area
|
This 57m² apartment is located on Boulevard Saint Germain in the 6th District between Rue de Buci and Rue de Seine. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of a walk up building secured by a digicode security system and having a concierge.
This apartment belonged to a painter and is decorated with fresco on the walls and clouds painted on the kitchen ceiling.
When you enter the premises the first door on your right is the separate toilet. Then straight is the first room of this railroad apartment: the kitchen. It is equipped with a wooden table with wheels (so it can be moved to the living room) and two chairs, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and kitchen utensils. It also has a window facing the courtyard.
The next room is the bedroom with two entrance doors, one of which has a glass window. The bedroom has walls painted yellow and a window. It is furnished with double size bed, a cable TV with VCR and DVD placed on a wooden piece of furniture and a large wooden closet. This room is separated from the living room by wooden sliding doors that can be opened to let the sunshine in from the living room window.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, in front of which is wooden coffee table as well as a stereo; a desk (computer is not available during the rentals) with a chair, and a fireplace.
The last room is the bathroom with a window also facing courtyard. It is equipped with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a flat heater to dry towels. This room was refurbished with special rocks from burgundy.
The nearest metro station is Saint Germain des Pres (line 4) right outside the apartment.
Located on the very demanded Saint Germain des Près area, more precisely the Saint Sulpice neighborhood, Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market), a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
