Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located in the highly-in-demand area of the Marais, one of the few Paris neighborhoods to still having preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. The Georges Pompidou Cultural Center (also known as Beaubourg), the vast Les Halles Mall, and the well-know Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes, are all located in the vicinity of this accommodation. A little further is the royal Place des Vosges, a must-visit destination featuring the places of residence of many historic personalities and a number of fascinating museums. The most important points of interest in Paris, like the Louvre Museum, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands, are in a fair walking distance from this accommodation.
Premises: This 60m² (approx. 646 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is situated on the third floor of a six-floor 19th century building.The main entrance gate features a digicode and opens into a hall with an intercom which allows access to the elevator.
The layout is as follows: The entrance door opens into a small corridor with the toilets located on the right, and the open kitchen and living-room -- on the left. The bathroom is straight ahead. The living room leads into the bedroom, which is on the left, and the kitchen, which is on the right.
The 30m² (approx. 323 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two French doors with a small balcony overlooking the street. It is furnished with a wooden dining table and four chairs, a single-size sofa bed, a fireplace, and a bar with two stools.
The bedroom has a parquet floor and two French doors with curtains and shutters that allow access to a small balcony overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table with lamp, a white built-in closet with wardrobe space, a functioning marble fireplace surmounted by a mirror, and a wooden cabinet with bookshelves. It is equipped with a cable television and a DVD-player.
The open kitchen has a French window and is equipped with three induction plates, a multifunctional oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a kettle, and a toaster.
The tiled bathroom has a window and a sliding door with curtains. It is fitted with a bathtub, a washbasin and a towel heater. At its entrance, there is an enclave with a washing machine and some shelves.
Heat is provided by infrared radiation, and water is gas-heated and separate.
Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Hotel de Ville (Line 1 & 11).
