A modern two bedroom apartment close to the Opera Garnier

Neighbourhood: This apartment is located on a famous rue La fayette. It is a short distance to the 19th century architectural masterpiece, the "Palais Garnier". Built by Charles Garnier and inaugurated in 1875, it is the 13th opera house to be founded in Paris since the creation of this institution by King Louis XIV in 1669. It s construction was initiated by Napoleon III. The elegant place Vendôme is also close by. The Champs Elysées, and Saint Germain des Près or Montmartre are a short metro ride away. All conveniences and services are available in this neighborhood. Premises: This 90m² apartment is located on the 6th (7th floor in the USA) and top floor of a late 19th century structure. This building has a coded security system that protects the main entrance gate, and an elevator that goes as high as the 5th floor. Layout: The entrance door opens on a small staircase that leads to the living room and an open-kitchen. From the living room, to the left, is a small hallway that gives access to the two bedrooms. The bathroom is accessible thru the living room. The 54m² living room has two windows that overlook the street. There is also a skylight on the roof, which provides lots of light. It is furnished with a sofa, a TV with a DVD player, two armchairs, a coffee table, a cupboard with a stereo, and a rectangular dining table with matching chairs. The open-kitchen is stylish in a contemporary way. It is equipped with four induction burners, a traditional oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee maker. This kitchen has a skylight that can be opened electrically The 14m² first bedroom has a window that opens onto the street and gives a view of the Sacré Coeur of Montmartre. There is an interior shutter. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a desk and a cabinet. The 12m² second bedroom has a window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a desk and a built-in closet. This room has a TV with a VCR player and a phone. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a bathtub and two washbasins and a large mirror. The toilet is not separated. In this bathroom, there is a small room with a laundry machine. The nearest metro station is Chaussée D'Antin (lines 9 and 7). Electric heat and hot water are individually metered.
