A four bedroom triplex apartment in the heart of The Marais

Neighborhood:
This apartment is located near the center of "Chatelet les Halles", a very day as night full of life district just behind the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, this street is close to Les Halles Mall, what means about a 10minute walking distance to the Louvre Museum and adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden, as well as to the Seine River with its unique islands- Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral berth, and the delightful Ile Saint Louis - a must see. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, all sorts of facilities are easily found in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 150m² triplex four bedrooms apartment is located on the first floor (second in USA) of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a code system. This door opens onto a corridor leading to another door protected by an intercom. This last door opens onto a paved courtyard. After crossing this courtyard, a staircase goes to the apartment.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hall. Straight ahead there is the living room and the open kitchen and on the right the first bathroom. The living room gives an access to the first terrace and to the first bedroom. From the open-kitchen, a hallway leads to the second terrace, to the second bedroom, to the second bathroom and finally to a staircase. This staircase goes up to the third bedroom and to the fourth bedroom on the third floor by another staircase. This last bedroom has a private toilet.
The 55m² living room has three French windows opening onto the terrace. It is furnished with sofas, a coffee table, a cupboard with upon it a flat screen cable TV with its DVD player, a dining table with chairs and built-in shelves. This room is connected to Internet.
The open kitchen is stylish in a contemporary way. It is equipped with three vitro-ceramic burners, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave oven, a traditional oven, a dishwasher, a laundry machine, a toaster and a coffee maker. The kitchen has two windows overlooking the second terrace.
The 8m² first bedroom has a window opening to the first courtyard and a mezzanine accessible by a wooden scale. It is furnished with a single size bed and some toys. On the mezzanine there is a double size bed and combo TV/VCR with its DVD player.
The 7m² second bedroom has a window opening on the second terrace. It is furnished with a single size bed, a desk, some shelves and a cupboard.
The 10m² third bedroom on the first floor has a window opening on the second terrace as well. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed and two baby beds.
The 10m² fourth bedroom has a skylight overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, two bedside tables and a built-in closet. This room has a private toilet with a small washbasin.
The first bathroom (on the right from the entrance) is tiled different red shade. It is equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet.
The second bathroom (before the second bedroom) has a brown tiled floor and is equipped with a single washbasin, a bathtub and a toilet.
Plants surround the first terrace, and the second terrace is furnished with some armchairs.
The nearest metro station is Rambuteau (line 11).
Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered.
