Neighborhood:
The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century the area was a mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre has a physical charm and a village atmosphere that remains remarkably intact. The apartment is located just a few meters from the funicular departure station. From the apartment's window there are spectacular views of the city (such as Notre Dame, the Pantheon, Beaubourg, the Saint-Jacques Tower). Close by is one of Paris's most picturesque squares, the Place des Abbesses, with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of shops and services in the neighborhood like the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
Premises:
This 27m² one-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a walk-up Haussman-style building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and an intercom.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly onto the dining room and it leads on the left to the kitchen and on the right to the bedroom / living room. The bathroom is accessible thru the kitchen.
The 8m² dining room has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is decorated in an antique style with an armchair, a table and a dining table with its chairs. There is a decorative fireplace with two bookshelves on its both sides. This room is air contionned.
The 9m² living room / bedroom is decorated in an antique style. The large triple glass window overlooks the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, some closets and a TV. There is also a piano and some other decorative items. This bedroom has a 6m² mezzanine furnished with a double size futon bed and a cabinet.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a combo stove / dishawasher, a toaster and a coffee maker. The kitchen has also a door, which opens onto the courtyard.
The tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, a design washbasin and a toilette.
There is also a laundry machine (only washer).
An Internet connection is available.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
The closest metro station is Anvers (line 2).
