Neighborhood:
One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, the very demanded Saint Germain des Près district is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. Here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market), a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
Premises:
This 60m² one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (2nd for USA) of 19th century building. The main entrance gate opens onto the courtyard, which leads to the entrance building protected by a code security system. This door opens onto a hall having an elevator.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto the hall. It leads on the left to the kitchen and straight ahead to the living room.
From the living room, a flight of stairs leads on the left to the bedroom, straight ahead to the separate toilets and finally to the bathroom.
The 20m² living room has two windows overlooking the courtyard. It is decorated with a mix of modern and antique taste. It is furnished with two leather sofas, a coffee table, an antique style dining table with its chairs, a bookshelf and a TV.
The 13m² bedroom has one window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a closet, a chest of drawers and two chairs.
The kitchen, hidden by two sliding doors is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, 4 electric burners, a combo washer/dryer machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath with a showerhead and a washbasin.
The separate toilet is equipped with a washbasin.
The nearest metro station is Rue du Bac (line 12).
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
