Neighborhood: In a 10 minutes walking distance is the Montparnasse area with its famous highest tower of Paris, numerous theaters, most of them on Rue de la Gaite, cinemas, and all sorts of shops, this area has conserved the charm of some village qualities. All around there are pleasurable little squares and pedestrian streets with small commercial activities and nice open air markets such as the traditional one on Rue Daguerre, as well as number of worthwhile restaurants and cafes. The most important points of interest are in about ten metro station distance. Premises: This 50m² one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of a Haussmanien style building having an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. Layout: The entrance door opens onto a hall, which leads on the left to the living room and in the right to the kitchen and the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom. The 24m² living room has two French windows that open onto a balcony overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, armchairs, a round dinning table with its chairs and a chest of drawers. There is also a working fireplace and a cable TV with a DVD player. The 9m² bedroom has a window opening onto a courtyard. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a table and an antique style mirror. The kitchen is equipped with four gas burners, an oven, a microwave, a combo washer/dryer laundry machine, a coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom has a bathtub and a washbasin. The closest metro stations are Mouton Duvernet (line 4) and Denfert Rochereau (RER B, line 6).
