One-bedroom apartment in the Marais Area

Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in a very popular area, the Marais. It is one of a number of Parisian neighborhoods that has preserved almost all of its pre-revolutionary architecture. Close by is the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian street "rue Rambuteau", a residential and commercial street with greengrocers, fishmongers, and lovely restaurants and cafes. A little farther away is the royal Place des Vosges, where one can find many of the residences of historic personalities. Also nearby are the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands.
Premises:
This 32m² (approx. 340 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of an 18th century walk-up building. An intercom protects the main entrance gate; it opens onto a corridor, which leads to a staircase.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a corridor; on the right is the bedroom, the bathroom and toilet. Straight ahead is the living room and the open kitchen.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) living room has two windows facing the street with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a single-size sofa bed, a bedside table, an armchair, a coffee table, shelves with a TV and a phone, a radio, a small dining table with two matching chairs and some built-in closets.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a combo washer/dryer, a refrigerator, an oven, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has one window that overlooks a courtyard with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, some built-in closets and four chairs.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a toilet, built-in closets and a washbasin.
High speed internet access is available.
The nearest metro stations are Arts et métiers (L3, 11), Rambuteau (L11), Hotel de Ville (lines 1, 14), Chatelet Les Halles (Lines 1, 4,7,11,14, RER A, D, B) and are located within 5mn walking distance.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
