The apartment was very bright and comfortable. We had a good time. It was very hot in Paris but there was always a light breeze in the apartment.

Very good accommodation, good location. A few steps from the subway. Very well furnished and its hostess is very gracious. Everything was great. We were 4 adults and 1 child and we were very comfortable and nothing was lacking in the apartment. Definitely a very good option when it comes to renting an apartment in Paris.

We like owners, very nice people and apartment was comfortable. There is only one shower , one toilet and one bathtub. For 4 adults and family, I think is better to add another shower.

Very nice kitchen and balcony was excellent, very nice view from 9th floor. Elevator was working good and vary safe building.

We like staying there and will recommend to others. Thanks for service.

I am glad you liked my apartment and services, thank you very much. I always try to ensure my guests are happy with their stay at my apartment and I am glad I manage to do that.

As regards to the shower and the family, I don't understand. For four people (the rental was for four only), you had a large spa bathroom and a shower room with multi-jet shower. In a hotel room for two or three people, you only get one bathroom or shower room. Even with 6 people, there's no problem.

Thank you for your kind message on the guest book, I'll send it to Paris New York.

An older facility but located in a very safe and centrally located region of Paris. Shops, restaurants and banks close by. Interior apt furnishings were adequate but older and could use updating.

Exceptional views of Paris all around. Beautiful park across the street. Metro access great in able to reach almost all historic sights in less than 15 minutes commute times. Kitchen well appointed.

I would definitely vacation this way again and learn conversational French.

My apartment is appointed as shown on the photos, with modern furniture, modern paintings and Louis XVI and Louis XIV period furniture. This blend between modern and period styles makes the apartment welcoming. My guests have always been delighted and happy with the decoration.

I do my very best so my guests feel comfortable in my apartment, this is very important for me.

Thank you for your review and your rating, and I will be happy to host you again. All the best.

We had a lovely stay at Jacqueline's apartment. It was bright and spacious and she was an exceptional hostess. She met us with a lot of information for grocery stores and Metro lines and directions to all the main sights. She was helpful and a lovely person.

The apartment had a beautiful view and couldn't be located closer to the Metro station. Less than five minutes away, we found a good grocery store with Poulain bread (Monoprix), a lovely boulangerie and a great restaurants (dinner at Au Passage and Sunday brunch at Auberge Flora).

The only issue was that our two children chose not to sleep in the same bed (23-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son) and so we requested a rollaway which was too small, but we knew that there were only two real beds when we booked so this was not Jacqueline's fault. In the end, one of them slept on the couch and it was all fine. Jacqueline says she will be putting in a sofa bed in the fall and then it will be perfect for our family of four, and we will definitely book again when in Paris.

My only suggestion to Jacqueline is that she leave a guest book so people can write in suggestions for future guests, such as restaurants and grocery stores. We didn't discover the lovely boulangerie until our last day!

To renters, I would be cautious to check all costs with NY Habitat before going too far into booking. To be fair, Kevin at NY Habitat was extremely helpful and incredibly responsive with our communications especially with the language barrier and we couldn't have done it without him, but NY Habitat booking fee is high and we were surprised by it.

I am delighted to hear you had a pleasant stay Artlyn. Regarding the guest book, I used to have one actually, I'm going to put it back.

I also made a note regarding the baker's and the restaurants and I'm very happy about that. I'll also deal with the sofa bed.

This apartment was perfect for my husband, three teen daughters and myself. There was plenty of space, lovely view (10th floor) and beds were comfortable. We felt very safe and other building residents were very friendly.

The owner was fantastic, helping us determine how to get to the Parisian sights we wanted to see and local markets/ cafes. She even helped us figure out how to get public transportation to Versailles, saving us huge amounts of money.

The kitchen was great to cook meals and was equipped with a washer/dryer which came in handy. We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

We loved our stay in this apartment. The location is very good, the metro station is right in front and the supermarket is next door. Mme Jacqueline, the owner, is extremely polite and helped us in every single detail. The apartment has all the appliances and equipment needed.

The building is nice with a lovely garden. There is a point of attention: to enter the building there is a 10 step stair that would be a problem for handicapped people. But Mme Jacqueline kindly helped us to carry our luggage through these steps

We recommend these apartment for sure.

Indeed, the building has two entrances. One of them leads directly to the elevator (lower ground floor) and consequently, there are no more stairs.

From now on, I'll ask my guests to tell the taxi driver to drive them to that address; this way, they will no longer have to take the stairs.

Elisabeth, thank you for these ratings and I hope to welcome you back someday.

We had a VERY pleasant stay in Bastille. The apartment was spacious and neat. Excellent amenities in the kitchen including a coffee/espresso maker. The beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. Had to get used to the 3 bath/shower/toilet room configuration but that took no time.

The market next door to the apartment had all the extra food we needed but, in Paris, you go out to eat so there's not much of a need to keep perishable food except milk for morning coffee.

The sun hits the apartment fairly early so the electric shades on the main windows were very helpful. I would certainly rent this apartment again.

This apt was like a home away from home very comfortable and excessable to the Metro. It was a little challange to access cabs in the area however so we decided to contact a hotel down the street for a cab for return to the airport which worked out great.

The owner was more then welcoming made sure we were comfortable in every way. Access to the metro was right accross the street which made access to Paris very easy to all we wanted to see on our trip. We were very impressed with the security of the building very safe and secure.

Quiet neighborbood surrounding the building and a food store just down stairs.

Beautiful balcony with table and chairs outside a delight. Little hot one day no air or fans but all other days very nice bresse throuth apt in September. Very good restaurants in the area. All the bathrooms were clean and shower was great.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We also were glad for the elevator in the bldg. The owner also provided a hair dryer.

Clean, spacious, bright, modern apartment with view. Quiet area at night, but right on Metro line and walking distance from lots of restaurants.

We stayed for 5 days and were very comfortable. (Three adults and two kids.)

We had a great time and were very comfortable in this apartment. The area is quiet but a few blocks in any direction and there were restaurants and clubs and sights to be seen. My favorite part is the huge windows and balcony which wraps around the apartment with views over the rooftops. The weather was nice enough to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine outside in the evening.

The Metro is directly across the street and connect easily to all the main lines. There is a grocery store out the back door of the building that bakes fresh bread (yum!!)

My husband and I stayed for a week and my son and, at one point, three of his friend came to stay with us for a few nights. And with the second bedroom and the way the bathroom is actually broken into three separate rooms it was quite comfortable .

The owner was very nice and very helpful and helped us get our wi-fi set up before she left. My only suggestion is that the apartment could use a hair dryer. I would love to go back to Paris and would stay there again.

I am glad to hear my guests enjoy the comfort of my vacation rental and the help I can give them, which I think is only natural. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. Maybe they didn't see it. I will place it more prominently for the next rental.

For each new rental, I try to do the best I can so my guests have a successful stay.

My family's stay in this apartment was wonderful.

From the beginning Mrs. Sauvage was really pleasant with us. She agreed on showing us the place before renting it, she gave us a nice welcome with wine, and was concerned on how we were during our stay.

Regarding the apartment, it has a balcony with a great view of Paris because it was one of the higher floors in the building. With two bedrooms and a big living room, it was perfect to accommodate 5 persons and the kitchen was comfortable and well equipped. The bathrooms are another point to highlight, a shower and a bath with hydro -massage were perfect after a whole day of walking in Paris.

The location of the building was one of the best aspects, near to the metro station Richard-Lenoir, it was easy to make transfers in the station La Bastille, where you are able to take the most important metro lines and travel to the monuments in the "city of lights". Finally, if you are going to travel to Paris during winter, don't be worried about the cold, the heater works very well, and it is regulated at a perfect temperature.

Without a doubt we will rent this apartment for another family vacations in Paris.

The apartment had an amazing view and a huge living room with floor to ceiling windows all around, the view was spectacular!

The flat was comfortable and had ample living spaces. However it must be noted that while there are three bathrooms only one has a WC while the other two only have sinks and a shower or a bathtub. There is also only one bedroom, a part of the living room can be closed in order to make another smaller bedroom with a sofa bed but this enclosure does not block out noise or light from the main living room.

It was overall a great experience but the apartment is probably better suited for just 2-3 people.

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and the same goes for this particular owner who went out of her way to help and make my stay memorable. The apartment is a home away from home, super confortable and well appointed plus it has the advantage of being in a very nice neighbourhood and very close to the centre of Paris.

In fact, next time I go to Paris, I know where I'll go!!! A very satisfied customer indeed.

We have recently stayed in a Paris apartment through your agency and I have nothing but praise for the place that we stayed at.

The apartment matched the photos on the website exactly - exceeded our expectations in fact - with its size, cleanliness and amazing views of Paris!

Not only that, our host was amazingly considerate and friendly and it was a joy to stay in this apartment with a real personal touch!

I would recommend the apartment to anyone who wished to have a real Parisian experience! It was close to all amenities and also the Bastille open air markets and the metro stop.
