One-bedroom apartment just steps from the Place République and the St. Martin Canal
Neighborhood:

This little street ends on the Saint Martin Canal. Although one of the least known, it remains one of the most idyllic Parisian landscapes. The cycling tracks from Bastille to the Villette district promise plenty of outdoor enjoyment. Sainte Marthe place is a precious spot in this neighborhood with its cafes and appetizing restaurants. About 10 minutes away by metro are the Louvre and the Seine. Nearby République Place offers a large variety of restaurants, cafés, and diverse shops.

Premises:

Situated on the first French floor (second in the USA) of a 20th century walk-up building, this 28m² (approx. 300 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment has its main entrance gate protected by a security code. The apartment has a western exposure.

Layout:

The entrance door opens directly into the small living room and the open kitchen. A hallway links the living room and the bedroom and gives access to the bathroom.

The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) living room has a window overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished a coffee table, a stereo and a chest of drawers.

The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a small refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a kettle. There is also a washing machine.

The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window facing a courtyard. The bedroom is furnished with a double-size bed (with drawers underneath for storage), bookshelves, a desk and a rack. This room is equipped with a TV.

The bathroom has a shower stall, a washbasin and a toilet.

The nearest metro station is Jacques Bonsergent (line 5).

Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
