A one bedroom apartment close to the Place d'Italie

Neighborhood: This apartment is located on Boulevard Arago, the Jardin des Plantes, known as the botanical garden. The Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, the popular Rue Mouffetard with the oldest open-air market in Paris, are within five minutes walking distance. It is also close to La Manufacture des Gobelins, a tapestry factory dating back to 1440 founded by the Gobelins brothers, whose work originally was for the Palace of Versailles. The Place d'Italie is nearby, popular for its Chinatown district. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood. Premises: This 36m˛ (approx. 385 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the 10th floor (11th in the USA) of a 1970s building in a quiet private residence with a fulltime concierge. The entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and it opens into a nice courtyard. Then, there is an elevator leading to the apartment and all the way up to the roof (on the 23rd floor), which has two pools, a small gym room and an incredible 360 degree view of Paris. This area is shared with the other residents of the building. The apartment opens into a small hallway with the bathroom on the left hand side and the living room straight ahead with its open kitchen on the left. The bedroom is accessible by the corner kitchen. The 16m˛ (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has parquet floor, a French window with access to a balcony overlooking the entrance's courtyard and an attractive view of Paris. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a round dining table with chairs, some shelves, an armchair and a piano. It is also equipped with a TV, a DVD player and a stereo. The 6m˛ (approx. 65 sq.ft.) bedroom has parquet floor and a window on the balcony. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a desk with a laptop and some shelves. The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric plates topped by an exhaust fan, a refrigerator combo freezer, an oven, a kettle and a coffee maker. There is also a dressing room in the hallway. The tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a washing machine. Internet access is available. Heat and hot water are collective with the building. The nearest metro station is « Les Gobelins » (line 7). water are collective with the building.
