Neighborhood: This apartment is located between Beaubourg and Republique on a calm little street in the Marais area. Very close by is the Centre Georges Pompidou, a large cultural center famous for its architecture, as well as City Hall, the Seine, the Louvre, and the famous pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and restaurants. In this area are all sorts of shops, bars, and supermarkets. Premises: This 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft) studio apartment is located on the third floor (fourth in the USA) of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system that opens into a corridor leading to a second door protected by an intercom. The tiled 17m² (approx. 180 sq. ft) living room has three double-glazed windows overlooking the courtyard with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a single-size bed, a double-size sofa bed, a wooden table with a bench and some built-in closets. The open kitchen is located in the entrance hall. It is equipped with four electric plates, a microwave oven, an electric oven, a washing machine and a small refrigerator. The tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a toilette. The nearest metro station is Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11). Heat and hot water are both electric and are individually metered.
