This studio is situated close to Les Invalides. One of the most honored French monuments, the Hotel Royal des Invalides was built under King Louis XIV and is a masterpiece of 17th century architecture; it houses a number of museums. It is also near the famous Auguste Rodin Museum. The apartment is close to the majestic Eiffel Tower, which faces the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, to the Seine River, and to Trocadero Place. The neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and conveniences, and a number of select restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) studio is located on the second floor of a 20th century walk-up building accessible from two different entries. The first one (located on rue Bixio) is protected by a security-coded system. It opens into a corridor leading to the staircase. The second (situated on Avenue de Ségur) also has a coded security system. It opens into a corridor leading to a courtyard and the building entrance.
The apartment entrance opens into a small corridor linking the kitchen and the living room. It has a built-in closet.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has large windows and a French door opening onto a small balcony overlooking the street with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a desk and chairs, a large modern-style closet, some bookshelves, a stereo and a TV.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bathroom has a window with an eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard; it has a bathtub, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine.
The kitchen has a window with the same exposure and view as the bathroom; it is equipped with four vitro ceramic burners, a combo grill/oven, a kettle and a toaster.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
The nearest metro stations are St. François-Xavier (line 13) and Ecole Militaire (lines 8).
