One-bedroom apartment in Le Marais

Neighborhood: Located between Rue Vieille du Temple and Rue de Thorigny, this furnished apartment is in a charming area of Paris with old buildings and hotels particuliers. The accommodation is in quiet part of the Marais, which has many trendy cafes, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood has plenty of facilities and services and it overflows with artist galleries and design shops. In short walking distance are the Place de la Bastille, the oldest square in Paris, Place des Vosges, the Picasso Museum and Place de la Republique. A few minutes from the Picasso Museum, there are numerous galleries, restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops. Premises: This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second French floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system that opens into a corridor leading to the staircase. The exposed beams and the contemporary art give a certain charm to this apartment. The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has wall-to-wall carpeting and a double-glazed window overlooking a pedestrian street with a southwestern exposure. It has a dining table with four chairs, an armchair and some contemporary paintings. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners with a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, a toaster, a small electric oven and a coffee maker. The small bar separates the kitchen and the living room. The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) bedroom is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a bedside table, a desk with a chair and a small TV. This room is decorated in the same spirit as the living room. This room has a parquet floor and, since the apartment is located on a corner, it has two double-glazed windows overlooking two different streets. The bathroom is located between the living room and the bedroom. It contains a small bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a window and a toilette. A hair-dryer is available. A high speed wireless internet connection is available. Heat and hot water both use gas. The nearest metro stations are Filles du Calvaire (line 8) and Saint-Paul (line 1). The train station Gare du Nord is only at three metro stops away, which is really convenient to get to the Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport.
