Neighborhood:
Neighboring the splendid Luxembourg Garden, this mostly residential street is part of the Quartier Latin, one of the most youthful areas of Paris. A few steps away from this furnished two-bedroom apartment is the Pantheon, among the most important Parisian points of interest; it is a secular temple and known as the burial place of such greats as Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Emile Zola, and Marie and Pierre Curie. In walking distance from this accommodation is the Sorbonne as well as the Seine River and its traditional secondhand booksellers and delectable islands. The area boasts a number of restaurants and cafes, diverse shops, and other quality conveniences such as the Maubert Mutualité and Mouffetard open-air markets, supermarkets, and fine bakeries.
Premises:
This 90m² (approx. 965 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on second floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall leading to the staircase and a courtyard.
The apartment is the only one on the floor. The door opens into a hall linking all the rooms.
The 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with one sofa bed, two antique-style armchairs, a coffee table, an antique-style closet, a cable TV, a DVD player, two desks and chairs, and built-in bookshelves.
The first 17m² (approx. 180 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size-bed, a single bed, a bedside table with a lamp, an armchair, a desk and some built-in bookshelves. There is also a small dresser.
The second 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with two twin beds that can be put together to form a double size bed, some bookshelves, and a closet.
The separate kitchen has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is equipped with four gas burners, a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also a dining table with chairs.
The separate bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin, some closets and a washer.
There is also a separate toilette.
Heat and hot water are both gas.
The nearest metro stations are Port-Royal (RER B) and Denfert Rochereau (line 4,6 and RER B).
