Neighborhood: Located on Rue Montorgueil between Rue Etienne Marcel and Rue Reaumur, this modern, furnished apartment is in the heart of the mostly pedestrian Montorgueil area of Paris, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, and other services ; it is also a few minutes away from Les Halles. This accommodation is in short walking distance to lots of main points of interest such as Beaubourg, the Marais area, the Sentier. Premises: This 45m² (approx. 480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a well-maintained elevator 1930s building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall leading to a second door with a coded system and an intercom. This last door gives access to the staircase and the elevator. The apartment has a hard wooden floor and faces the busy pedestrian Montorgueil Street. There are a fish shop and a butcher below the apartment. The apartment door opens directly into the living room and the open kitchen. On the left, after the entrance, a small corridor links the living room to the bedroom and the bathroom. The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room is decorated in a contemporary style. It has three double-glazed windows with curtains overlooking the street with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, a round dining table with designer chairs, a long cupboard with a flat screen cable TV and a DVD player. A high speed internet access is available. Separated by shelves, the modern open kitchen is equipped with three induction plates, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle. The worktop is stainless steel. The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has two double-glazed windows with curtains that overlook the street. It is furnished with twin beds (that can be turned into a king-size bed), shelves and a large built-in closet with sliding mirrored doors. The tiled bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette and an electric towel-drying rack. The corridor between the living room and the bedroom has a built-in closet with mirrored sliding doors; it contains a washing machine, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Heat is collective with the building and hot water is electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Les Halles (line 4 - RER A, B et D), Etienne Marcel (line 4) and Sentier (line 3).For arrival and departure, the nearest station is Les Halles (line 4 - RER a, B , D) It is direct from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly Airport and Montparnasse Train Station.
