Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, this furnished one bedroom apartment is ideally located just behind the famous Musee d'Orsay and is just steps from the boulevard Saint Germain with its famous bars such as Le Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots. This neighborhood is known for its elegant, trendy streets and for the many options it offers - stylish fashion shops, a traditional elegant mall, antique shops, art galleries, and sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes.
In short distance from this accommodation is the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine, and most monuments and points of interest. The neighborhood also offers excellent quality services such as fine bakeries, select supermarkets, and the well-known daily Buci open air market.
Premises:
This 55m² (approx. 590 sq. ft.) one bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1900s building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and it opens into a corridor leading to a second door with a coded system. This leads to a hall with a staircase and the entrance to the apartment.
The apartment is north exposed and has a high-speed Internet connection (wireless connection available as well). The entrance door opens directly onto the living room. The bathroom and the separate toilette are accessible by a corridor located to the left of the entrance and the kitchen is accessible through the living room.
The spacious and well-decorated 28m² (approx. 300 sq. ft.) living room has white painted walls and a tiled floor. The double-glazed window overlooks the street and has curtains and iron exterior shutters. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a console, a round dining table with chairs and a cable TV. There are also three built-in closets.
In a recess is the 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom area. This area can be separated from the rest of the apartment by curtains. It has a double-glazed widow with curtains and iron exterior shutters. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and a chest of drawers.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric burners topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The white tiled bathroom has a bathtub, a shower cabin, two washbasins and a towel dryer. Next to the bathroom entrance, there is a laundry room with built-in closets that contain the washing machine and the dryer.
The separate toilette has a small washbasin.
Heat and hot water are electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Orsay (RER C) and Solférino (line 12).
