Two-bedroom apartment in the trendy Oberkampf area

Close to the dynamic Rue Oberkampf with its restaurants, trendy pubs and cafes, this furnished apartment is a short distance from the Republic Place and its many entertainment options. The numerous passageways here give much charm to this traditional Parisian district. Designed by Baron Haussmann in 1854, the Place de la Republique has at its center the 10m high Republic statue. The apartment is very close to the famous Place de la Bastille where the new Opera is considered one of the best in the world; it was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. This accommodation is also short walking distance to the famous Place des Vosges.
Premises:
This 81m² (approx. 870 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of the building constructed in 1895. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall. From there, a second door with a coded system opens into a hall and a staircase. This staircase goes to the third floor and the apartment, one floor up, is accessed by a stairway.
The apartment is south exposed and overlooks a quiet courtyard. There is also a wireless Internet DSL connection.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall leading to the second bedroom, the kitchen and the living room. The bathroom, the separate toilette and the master bedroom are accessible from the living room.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two double-glazed windows with curtains. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, armchairs, bookshelves, a piano, a decorative fireplace, a dining table with chairs and a console with a TV, a VCR and a DVD player.
The separate kitchen contains five gas burners topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a window opening into the living room from the kitchen.
From the living room, a door leads to office space furnished with shelves and a desk. The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) master bedroom is accessible through there via a sliding door. It has a double-glazed window with curtains overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed and bedside tables. This room also has a dressing area with wardrobes and shelves hidden by a sliding door.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) second bedroom has a double-glazed window with exterior rolling shutters and curtains. It is furnished with a single-size mezzanine bed, a desk, a built-in closet hidden by a curtain, bookshelves and a second desk under the mezzanine with a computer connected to the Internet.
The bathroom is accessible from the living room and contains a shower, a bathtub, a washbasin, a clothes drying rack (above the tub), a hair dryer and a washing machine. The bathroom is equipped with an electric aeration system.
The separate toilette is located next to the bathroom.
The entrance hallway has built-in closets.
The apartment is equipped with a vacuum, an iron and an ironing board.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Rue Saint Maur (line 3).
