Original one-bedroom on Ile Saint Louis

Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is ideally located on the quay de Bourbon. A very exclusive area of Ile St. Louis, it is mostly residential and one of the most select and beautiful Paris neighborhoods. In the middle of the island are numerous little shops, cozy crêperies, and smart restaurants, often in vaulted cellars, which make an attractive setting for an elegant meal. The harmony of the closely packed houses, the little cafes where a petit café can be enjoyed at leisure, the quiet quays and the aura of the past that pervades the island, give it a particular charm. This accommodation is very close to the Hôtel de Ville, the Latin Quarter and the Panthéon. Premises: This 45m² (approx. 480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a well-maintained 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a paved courtyard leading to the original 17th century staircase. The apartment has high ceilings (3.20m - 10.50 ft), exposed beams and the original tommette tiled floor. The entrance opens directly into the living room and straight ahead are the separate kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom area is located in a recess of the living room. The 29m² (approx. 310 sq. ft.) L-shaped living room has three windows with curtains overlooking a courtyard with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a round iron dining table with chairs, a sofa, armchairs, a cable TV on the floor and a decorative fireplace surrounded by two built-in closets. There is also, hidden by a folding screen, a double-size bed. Wifi Internet access is available. An opening gives access to the bedroom, which has a window with curtains overlooking the courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with bunk beds and lamps. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four gas burners, an electric oven, a small refrigerator, an Italian-style coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. The bathroom is divided into two parts. The first one is equipped with a washbasin, a mirror, a hairdryer, an electric towel drying rack and a washing machine. The second part is accessed by a sliding door and contains a toilette and a shower. The apartment is equipped with a vacuum, an iron and an ironing board. Heat and hot water are electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Pont Marie (line 7) and Hotel de Ville (lines 1 and 11).
