one-bedroom apartment in St. Germain des Près area

Neighborhood:
Close to the famous Le Bon Marché department store, this furnished apartment is in the heart of the Saint Germain des Prés area and is easy walking distance from Montparnasse. This neighborhood is well known for its elegant, trendy streets and for its stylish fashion shops, a traditional mall, antique shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes. A short distance away is the renowned Boulevard Saint Germain, the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine, and most of the monuments and points of interest. Also near this accommodation are quality services such as fine bakeries and select supermarkets. Close to the apartment is La Grande Epicerie, one of the best delicatessens in Paris.
Premises:
This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a recently renewed 18th century building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to a second door with an intercom. This opens into the hall with the staircase and the elevator. On the fourth floor, a flight of steps goes to the apartment door.
The apartment entrance opens directly into the living room and that leads to the bedroom and the kitchen. The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has a nice parquet floor and two windows with curtains; one overlooks the street with a northwestern exposure and the second offers a nice view of a quiet courtyard with a southeastern exposure. The cozy living room is furnished with armchairs, a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a folding table, a stereo and a phone.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor and a double-glazed window that overlooks the street. It is furnished with a single-size bed, bookshelves, a desk, a closet with mirrored doors and a chest of drawers. This room is equipped with a phone/fax, a TV (located under the desk) and a DSL Internet connection (a wireless connection is also available).
The small but convenient kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave, a small refrigerator and cabinets.
The tiled bathroom contains a washbasin, a bathtub with a showerhead and a toilette.
The apartment is also equipped with a vacuum, an iron and an ironing board.
Heat and hot water are electric.
The nearest metro station is Sèvres-Babylone (line 10 and 12).
