Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located on Rue du Sentier, a street perpendicular to the Grands Boulevards and just a few steps from the Porte Saint Martin and the Porte Saint Denis, two recently cleaned and restored triumphal arches erected in the 17th century to celebrate major French victories. This is one of those traditional, popular districts of Paris, with a great mix of communities and cultures. It offers the opportunity to explore the Grands Boulevards (composed of boulevards named de la Madeleine, des Italiens, St-Martin, des Capucines, Montmartre, Poissonnière, St-Denis, Bonne-Nouvelle), where all the major department stores are as well as many cinemas, cafes and restaurants. This accommodation is just a short metro ride from the Opera Garnier. Premises: This 110m² (approx. 1,180 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth and top floor of a 19th century building with an elevator. It is furnished with two lounge chairs and a small table. The first 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, an antique-style armchair, and built-in bookshelves. The second 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has two double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a large glass desk with a chair and some bookshelves. This second bedroom has a private bathroom, which has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a towel dryer and a large closet. The main bathroom is accessible from a dressing room with large closets. It has a window overlooking a courtyard, a bathtub, a washbasin and a towel dryer. The separate kitchen has a window, which opens onto a small balcony. It is equipped with four induction plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a built-in refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a dining area with a table and chairs. Heat and hot water use natural gas. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Bonne Nouvelle (lines 8,9), Grands Boulevards (Lines 8,9) and Sentier (line 3).
