Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is situated on Rue des Halles between Rue des Bourdonnais and Rue des Dechargeurs, in the heart of Paris' Chatelet neighborhood. Among the numerous points of interest in this area is the celebrated Louvre, one of the first European museums; a medieval fortress and palace and residence of many kings of France, in 1793 it was established as a museum by the French Republic. In fair distance are the Opera Garnier, Place Vendôme and its world famous jewelers, the Champs Elysées, and the very sophisticated Montaigne Avenue. All around this accommodation are jazz clubs, select restaurants, nice cafes, cinemas, supermarkets and other convenience shops. Premises: This 65m² (approx. 695 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth and top floor of a 19th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate opens into a hall leading to a second gate protected by a coded security system, which opens into a courtyard. A third gate leads to the staircase and the elevator. The apartment entrance opens into a corridor linking the living room, the two bedrooms, the separate kitchen, the bathroom and the separate toilette. The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has three double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa, a glass coffee table, an armchair, a glass dining table with chairs, and a chest of drawers with a TV and some decorative items. The first 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has two double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, a closet, a built-in closet and a chair. The second 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a sofa, a coffee table, a chest of drawers and a small built-in closet. The separate kitchen has a double-glazed window and a skylight overlooking a courtyard. It is equipped with two induction plates and two gas burners topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. It also has a dining area, which is furnished with a dining table and chairs. The separate bathroom has a window overlooking a courtyard. It has a bathtub, a washbasin and a washing machine . There is also a separate toilette. Heat and hot water are gas. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Chatelet (lines 1,4,7,14, RER A,B,D).
