Studio apartment in St. Germain des Prés

Neighborhood:
This furnished studio apartment is situated on Rue Du Dragon between Rue du Sabot and Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris. It is in the historic district of Saint Germain des Pres, known for its elegant, trendy streets and many stylish fashion shops, antique shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants, pubs and cinemas. After World War II, St. Germain-des-Pres became synonymous with intellectual life centered around bars and cafes. It is short walking distance to the Seine and the delightful Ile Saint Louis and not far from Luxembourg Gardens. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood like the lively market situated on Rue de Buci.
Premises:
This 25m˛ (approx. 265 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century walk-up building.
The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a corridor; then a second gate with an intercom and digital key opens to a hall leading to a courtyard. A last gate opens to the staircase.
The apartment entrance opens directly into the main room and the open kitchen. There is also a separate bathroom.
The 20m˛ (approx. 215 sq. ft.) main room has two windows with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, a small dining table with two chairs, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, a DVD player, a stereo and two built-in closets.
The open kitchen is separated from the main room by a small bar. It is equipped with two induction plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a dishwasher and a combo washer/dryer.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Saint-Germain-Des-Prés (line 4).
