One-bedroom apartment between Musee d'Orsay and St. Germain area

Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, this furnished one-bedroom apartment is ideally located close to the famous Musee d'Orsay and is just steps from the Boulevard Saint Germain. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, the high-demand Saint Germain des Près is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. There are a number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literary figures back in the day. This accommodation is also surrounded by art galleries and near the Sévres-Babylone area where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and shopping centers.
Premises:
This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a long corridor leading to a second door with an intercom and a security key. This opens to an original 19th century staircase. The apartment has a southeastern exposure and overlooks a calm courtyard. It has also high ceilings (3.50m - 11.60 ft.).
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has three large windows with curtains. It has a parquet floor and it is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, armchairs, a folding dining table and a console with a combo TV/VCR.
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar. It is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, an electric kettle and a toaster.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor and a window. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, bedside tables, lamps and large built-in closets.
The bedroom provides access to a tiled bathroom that contains a bathtub, a shower cabin and a washbasin.
The toilette is separate and located next to the entrance door.
Heat and hot water are electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Orsay (RER C) and Rue du Bac (line 12).
