This three-bedroom apartment is situated on Rue Danielle Casanova in the Tuileries area of Paris, with the vast and harmonious expanse of the Concorde Square at one end and the grand Louvre at the other. Place Vendome is the best example of 18th century elegance in the city; among the famous who lived there is Frederic Chopin, but it is currently lined with luxury hotels and jewelers. This area is crossed by two of Paris' most magnificent shopping streets; parallel to the Jardin des Tuileries is Rue de Rivoli and to the north is Rue St. Honore. The Louvre, containing one of the most important art collections in the world, is walking distance from the apartment. The entire district abounds with points of interest. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 120m² (approx. 1,290 sq. ft.) three-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th century building with an elevator, and will be in working conditions at the beginning of june 2007. The entrance gate, protected by coded security system, opens into a large hall leading to a courtyard where a glass door opens into the elevator and staircase.
The entrance door opens into a hall linking the living room and dining room, the first bedroom and its private bathroom, and a corridor leading to the kitchen and a staircase that leads to the third bedroom. The second bedroom and its private bathroom are accessible through the dining room.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) dining room has two double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a large dining table with chairs and a chest of drawers.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with two double-size sofas, a glass coffee table, a chest of drawers, a console with some decorative items and built-in bookshelves.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) first bedroom has two double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, bedside tables, a desk and chair, some modern-style bookshelves and a large closet. There is also a TV, a DVD player and a stereo. This bedroom has a private bathroom, which has a bathtub, two washbasins, a toilette and a towel dryer.
The second 17m² (approx. 180 sq. ft.) bedroom is accessible from the dining room and has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, a chair, and a closet. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a towel dryer.
In the corridor linking the kitchen to the dining room, a staircase leads to a third 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom with exposed beams, which has two double-glazed windows with northern and western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table and a console with a lamp.
The separate kitchen has a French door that opens onto a small terrace with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with four induction plates topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. Heat and hot water are electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Pyramide (lines 7,14).
