Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is bordering the captivating Canal Saint Martin, situated between Rue du Faubourg du Temple and Rue Allibert. A cosmopolitan and dynamic area providing diverse sorts of shops, restaurants and cafes, it neighbors Republic Place with its many entertainment options and conveniences. A short walk away is the delightful Saint Martin Channel bordered by trees and dotted with little bridges, an idyllic local landscape and one of Parisians' favorite areas to live. The cycling tracks from Bastille to the Villette district promise much enjoyment, and Sainte Marthe place, a precious spot in this neighborhood, offers a delightful array of appetizing restaurants. The Louvre and the Seine are about 10 minutes away by metro. Premises: This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the 11th floor of a 1970s building. The main entrance gate is protected by an intercom and opens into a large hall. On the left, a glass door is protected by a coded system and opens into a hallway leading to the two elevators. The apartment entrance opens into a hall leading to the main room straight ahead and to the bathroom on the left. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) main room is decorated in a modern style and has a nice parquet floor and a double-glazed sliding door that opens into a balcony that overlooks the Canal St. Martin and offers a wonderful view of Paris rooftops and monuments (Eiffel Tower, Sacré Coeur, Pompidou Center, Pantheon, etc.) The main room is furnished with a double-size bed, a folding dining table, two armchairs, two large built-in closets and a console with a flat screen cable TV, a combo DVD player/stereo and a phone. There is also high-speed Internet access (a wireless connection is available as well). Separated by a wooden bar, the open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic plates, a combo microwave/grill oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and a kettle. The nicely decorated bathroom is fitted with a bathtub with a shower system, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine. Heat and hot water are electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Jacques Bonsergent (line 5) and Republique (line 3, 8, 9,11).
