One-bedroom duplex in the heart of the charming Latin Quarter

Neighborhood:
Situated in the heart of the exclusive part of the Fifth Arrondissement, this furnished apartment is located a few steps from the Rue Mouffetard and the Pantheon. Rue Mouffetard, with its cafes, restaurants and open market, is one of the most "typical" streets in Paris. The neighborhood is very lively, with many bars and restaurants and it is not far from the famous Jardin du Luxembourg. This accommodation is also short walking distance to Jussieu, Place de la Contrescarpe, and Censier Daubenton.
Premises:
This 27m² (approx. 290 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the ground floor of a 19th century building. A coded security system, an intercom and a guardian protect the main entrance gate.
The apartment is north exposed and is accessible through a private courtyard that is shared with the neighboring apartment.
The entrance is a French door protected by a secure wooden shutter. This opens directly into the 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) living room that has a sisal wall-to-wall carpet. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a folding dining table with chairs, and a console with a small cable TV and DVD player. There is also a phone and a built-in closet, which contains a vacuum.
The kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
Next to the kitchen is a spiral wooden staircase that leads up to the 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) bedroom. It has wall-to-wall carpeting and a window with curtains and shutters that overlooks the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed and two cabinets. This room also has a phone and a high-speed DSL Internet connection (a wireless connection is available).
The tiled bathroom is accessible through the bedroom and is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and, in a recess, a toilette.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Place Monge (line 7) and Luxembourg (RER B).
