Studio apartment next to Place des Vosges

This furnished apartment is located next to the Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris. The royal Place des Vosges was originally named the Place Royale and built between 1605 and 1612 as decreed by Henry IV. Many historical personalities lived there, such as novelist, Victor Hugo, at number 6. A number of museums, art galleries, select restaurants, trendy fashion shops and pleasant cafes are near this accommodation. In 10 minutes walking distance is Bastille Place, a symbol of the French Republic, and a short distance away by metro are all other important points of interest.
Premises:
This 29m˛ (approx. 310 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a well-maintained 17th century walk-up building, which has kept its original aspect. The main entrance door is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to a staircase. This staircase goes to the first floor, where a second staircase is across a corridor. This leads to the apartment entrance.
The apartment door leads directly into the main room. It has a parquet floor and two windows with curtains that face a calm courtyard. Since it is a top floor apartment under the roof, the ceiling height goes from 1m (3.28 ft) to 2.50m (8.20 ft); there are three skylights.
The 16m˛ (approx. 170 sq. ft.) main room is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a console with a TV and a stereo, and a folding dining table with chairs. There are also handy built-in closets.
Hidden behind a bar with stools, the open kitchen is equipped with a combo stove (four vitro ceramic plates), an oven, a dishwasher, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The bathroom is accessible through a sliding door and is fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a toilette, a combo washer/dryer and a window.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations is Chemin vert (line 8).
