Modern-style one-bedroom in Northern part of the Marais

Neighborhood:
This apartment is located between Beaubourg and Republique on a calm little street in the Marais area. Very close by is the Georges Pompidou -- a large cultural center famous for its architecture -- as well as City Hall, the Seine, the Louvre, and the famous pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and restaurants. There are all sorts of shops, bars, and supermarkets near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system that opens into a corridor leading to a second door with an intercom. This last door opens to the staircase.
The apartment has high ceilings (3m - 9.80 ft). The entrance door opens into a hall that links all the rooms.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two triple-glazed windows with curtains that overlook the street. It is furnished with a comfortable double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a folding dining table with chairs and a cabinet that contains sheets, a stereo and a cable TV with a DVD player. This room is connected to Internet via a high-speed DSL connection (a wireless connection is also available).
The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, a dishwasher, a microwave/grill oven, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and a washing machine. The refrigerator is located on a corner of the living room.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor and a double-glazed window with curtains and rolling shutters, which overlooks a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed (160 cm wide), a bedside table and a large cabinet with mirrored sliding doors.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
The apartment is also equipped with a vacuum, an iron, an ironing board and a hairdryer.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11).
