Neighborhood: This furnished two-bedroom apartment is located on Rue Jules César between Rue de Lyon and Boulevard de la Bastille in Paris. The Bastille area has many entertainment options such as the new Opera House, many cinemas, gorgeous restaurants, and nice pubs mostly frequented by artists and young people. In five minutes walking distance from this accommodation is the beautiful Place des Vosges, where the famous writer Victor Hugo lived from 1832 to 1848. It is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels. Premises: This 80m² (approx. 860 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the sixth floor of a 20th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate, protected by an intercom and a digital key, opens into a large hall containing the elevator and the staircase. The elevator has a coded security system for accessing the floors. The entrance door opens into a hall that leads to the living room, the two bedrooms, the kitchen, the bathroom, the separate toilette and the dressing area. The 24m² (approx. 255 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glazed bay window and a French door, which opens onto a balcony with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a small dining table and two chairs. The living room is furnished with two single-size sofa beds, a dining table with chairs, a coffee table, a desk with a computer, and a chest of drawers. The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed bay window with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a small closet and a chair. The second 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed bay window and a French door with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed. There is also a separate dressing area near the second bedroom. The separate kitchen has a bay window overlooking a courtyard. It is equipped with two electric plates, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. The separate bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a towel dryer. There is also a separate toilette with a washbasin and a washing machine. Heat is collective and hot water is electric. For convenient travel around Paris, the closest metro stations are Gare de Lyon (line 1,14, RER line A,D) and Bastille (line 1,5,8).
