Two-bedroom apartment in le Marais

Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is located on the Rue des Tournelles. Just a few steps from the apartment is the royal Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, and for being the former place of residence of many historic personalities and the oldest and most beautiful square in Paris. The Picasso Museum is five minutes walk and the Louvre is ten minutes away by metro and the center of Paris is about five minutes away. It is only a short walk to Bastille Place and the opera, considered one of the best in the world and inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. This is an ideal location to discover the historical Paris and also to enjoy the many restaurants, cafés, fashion shops or open-air markets of the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 55m² (approx. 590 sq. ft.) apartment is located on the third floor of a 17th century walk-up building, renovated in 2007. There are two entrances to access this apartment, both protected by a coded system. The gates open respectively into a nice courtyard and into a corridor leading to the stairs. The boulevard and metro station are at the foot of the building and there is a little street leading to the Place des Vosges.
The apartment has parquet floors and double-glass windows.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with an angle single-sofa bed, a coffee table, bookshelves, a decorative fireplace, an armchair and stools. It is also equipped with cable TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic plates topped by a small cooker hood, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed and a built-in closet which extends over the width of the wall; this contains the combo washer/dryer.
The 5m² (approx. 50 sq. ft.) second bedroom is in front of the shower room. It is furnished with a Louis Philippe-style trundle bed and a desk with a chair. There is also a small window overlooking the courtyard.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a big shower cubicle, a washbasin, a toilette and a window that has a view of the living room.
A DSL Internet connection is available.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
The nearest metro station is Chemin Vert (line 8).
