Studio apartment in Marais Area

This studio appartment is located Rue Parc Royal between Rue Elzevir and Rue Payenne.As an historical area, the Marais has a lively atmosphere due to its pre-Revolution architecture and a substantial number of points of interest: design shops, diverse bars and restaurants, art galleries and museums, such as the Picasso and the Carnavalet museums which are located just at the corner of rue Parc Royal. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges, hailed for the harmony of its architecture and for being the place where world famous French novelist Victor Hugo lived. It takes just a few minutes to go to the to the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries from the apartment.
Premise:
This 30m² (approx 320 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the third floor of an 18th century building with elevator. It is, in fact, the center of a recently added residence, which mixes a "hotel particulier" dating back from the 18th century and a modern complex. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system at night. This door opens into a paved courtyard, which faces the authentic 18th century style façade. From here, a door leads to the pre-revolutionary hall with a wonderful painted ceiling. This leads to the recently built complex protected by a full-time concierge and, after crossing corridors and gardens, to the elevator.
The entrance door opens into a small hall, which leads to the main room and its open kitchen and the separate bathroom.
The 20m² (approx 215 sq ft) main room has two large windows overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a small dining table, a console surmounted by a TV and a combo DVD, VCR, a large closet and bookshelves.
The open kitchen has two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The separate bathroom has a tub with a hand-held showerhead, a washbasin, a towel dryer and a combo washing machine/dryer.
Heat and hot water are both collective.
The nearest subway station is Chemin Vert (line 8).
