Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located on Avenue de Villiers between Place du Maréchal Juin and Place du Brésil. It is in short walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe, to the Champs Elysées Avenue, and to the prettiest of the Parisian parks, the Park de Monceau, surrounded by alluring gates and featuring winning gardens and paths and sculptures of renowned personalities. This refined area is also close to two of the traditional, well-known open-air markets - Rue Poncelet, and Rue de Levis with number of colorful and quality fruit and vegetable stallholders, as well as fashion shops, nice restaurants and cafes. The famous French poet Verlaine lived in this district from 1851 to 1865 at 10 Rue Nollet, and the peaceful little house at 28 Rue Lemercier was the residence of the famous composer Jacques Brel. Premises: This 62m² (approx. 665 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall. Then a second gate with an intercom opens into a corridor and a courtyard. Please notice that between the 15 march and the 15 may 2009 the building will be under renovation. The apartment entrance opens into a hall, which links the living room, the separate kitchen, the separate toilette and a small dressing area. The bedroom, the separate bathroom and the dressing room are accessible from the living room. The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has two windows with northeast exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with two single-size beds used as a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, a bookshelf containing a flat screen TV, and a dining table and chairs. The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with southwest exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with two single-size beds, which can be used as a queen-size bed, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers. The separate bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a towel dryer. There is also a separate toilette with a washbasin. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a built-in refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a washing machine. Heat and hot water are electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Pereire (line 3, RER C).
