Bright one-bedroom apartment bordering the Marais area
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is a few steps from the historic Place de la Bastille where the Opera de Paris, inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution and considered one of the best in the world, is located. This accommodation is within walking distance of the royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square in Paris and the former residence of many historic personalities. Built by Henri IV, its perfect symmetry and verticality are fine examples of classical French architecture. This area is also known for its museums, art galleries and antique shops. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 71m² (approx. 760 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the 12th and top floor of a 1970 building. An intercom, a coded system and a concierge protect the main entrance gate. This leads to the two elevators.
The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) double living room has sliding double-glazed windows with shutters. These provide access to a balcony that overlooks the street with a southwest exposure and offers a view of Paris rooftops.
The living room is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, armchairs, shelves, a console with a cable TV, a combo stereo/DVD player and a phone. In a separate area (divided by a half partition), there is trundle bed (two single-size beds) and a table with two chairs.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with shutters that overlooks the boulevard and a French window that provides access to the balcony. It is furnished with a double-size bed and two bedside tables.
The L-shaped eat-in kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. It also gives access to the balcony.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a washing machine.
The toilette is separate and accessible through a hallway, which has built-in closets.
The entrance also has a built-in closet.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Richard Lenoir (line 5), Saint Ambroise (line 9) and Saint Sebastien Froissart (line 8).
