This furnished apartment is located on a small, select street in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près, one of the most attractive and historic districts on the Left Bank in Paris. There is a number of select restaurants and historic cafes like Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American writers. The new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market) is just outside, and Rue de Buci, with its special atmosphere and open-air market, is only a few steps away from this accommodation. The neighborhood is also very famous for its fine art galleries and fashion designer shops. This accommodation is at a walking distance from Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint Louis, the two Parisian islands on the Seine river.
Premises:
This furnished apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate has an intercom and opens onto a porch, and then a courtyard that leads to the staircase.
The 33m² (approx. 355 sq. ft.) studio opens into the main room with a separate kitchen and bathroom.
The 21m² (approx. 226 sq. ft.) living and dining room has a parquet floor and a double glazed window with curtains overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-sized thala bed, a hairdresser, a coffee table, a dining table with two chairs, and two built-in closets. It is also equipped with a television and stereo.
The separate kitchen has one window and contains four vitro-ceramic plates topped with a cooker hood, a traditional oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a toaster.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, a toilet and a washbasin.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Saint Germain des Pres (line 4) or Mabillon (line 10).
