This furnished apartment is located minutes away from the historic Place de la Bastille, where the Opera de Paris can be found. Considered to be one of the best operas in the world, it was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. The royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square in Paris and a former residence for many historic personalities, is only a short walking distance away from this accommodation. Built by Henri IV, it displays perfect symmetry and vertical lines that are fine examples of classical French architecture. This area is also known for its fascinating museums, arts galleries, and antique shops. In addition, all sorts of convenience shops and services are close to this accommodation.
Premises:
This 33m˛ (approx. 355 sq. ft.) alcove studio is located on the fourth floor of a 20th-century walk-up building. The main entrance gate features a digital code and opens onto a porch, which leads to a staircase on the right.
The studio entrance opens into the main room with the open kitchen on the right. The living area and bedroom are separated by a wall of bookcases. The shower room can be accessed from the bedroom area. Both areas have parquet floors.
The living area has a double-glazed window with blinds overlooking the street. It is furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, two armchairs, and two stools adjoining the bar. The bar features two electric plates.
The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a coffeemaker and several built-in closets above the washbasin.
The bedroom area also has two double-glazed windows with blinds overlooking the street (same view as the living area). It is furnished with a double-size bed, a desk and a chair, and a built-in closet. It is also equipped with a cable television set, a DVD-player, and a printer.
The tiled shower room is fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a toilet, and a washing machine.
Heat and hot water are electric and separate.
Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Ledru Rollin (line 8). Two bicycles are also available.
